Are you ready to put the wind back in our sails? We’re looking for a hands-on, quick-thinking Wind Turbine Technician to keep our turbines spinning smoothly. If you thrive on the thrill of troubleshooting and love the satisfaction of a job well done, this might just be the perfect role for you.

Imagine starting your day with a drive out to our onshore wind farm, the turbines standing tall against the morning sky. You’re there to carry out a routine inspection, making sure each turbine is in tip-top shape. Sometimes, you find a simple fix, like adjusting a component. Other times, you dive deep into the mechanical, electrical, or technical mysteries that keep these giants turning. You don’t just troubleshoot—you solve problems before they even have the chance to slow us down, ensuring our turbines keep catching the wind with minimal downtime.

Of course, things don’t always go according to plan. Maybe a turbine needs an urgent repair, and you’re ready to jump into action, swapping out parts and ensuring everything is back up and running smoothly. Every job is logged meticulously, so our records tell the story of how we’ve kept things spinning. And when special projects come along—whether it’s bringing a brand-new turbine into our fleet or swapping out a major component—you’re right there, making it happen.

You’re not just working with turbines; you’re working with people. During your time on-site, you keep the lines of communication open with customers, making sure they know what’s going on every step of the way. They rely on your updates as much as they do on the wind.

Your job isn’t just about keeping turbines running; it’s about doing it safely. Safety protocols aren’t just rules to you—they’re second nature. You’ve got an eagle eye for spotting potential hazards before they become problems, and you’re always thinking about the bigger picture. You ensure every nut, bolt, and blade is in place and that all components work together seamlessly. The result? Turbines that are as safe as they are powerful.

Ride the Wind of Change:

You’re not in this alone. You’ll work closely with our engineering and operations teams, sharing ideas to make our turbines even better. You dive into the data, identifying gaps and turning them into opportunities for improvement, tweaking performance, and catching issues before they become problems. And when the job calls for it, you’ll collaborate with the control room to monitor our turbines all over the world—no matter where the wind takes us.

What You’ll Need to Soar:

• A valid driver’s license (because you’ll need to chase the wind).
• A high school diploma or equivalent; extra points if you have additional technical training.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems in wind turbines.
• Comfort working at heights and in all kinds of weather—rain, shine, or gusty days.
• Experience in maintenance and repair, especially in renewable energy, is a big plus.
• Proficiency with technical manuals, diagnostic tools, and equipment.
• A solid commitment to safety, always.
