We’re on the hunt for a Major Component Work Planner who’s ready to dive into the renewable energy industry and make a real impact. What You’ll Be Handling Day-to-Day

Project Planning & Scheduling

• Develop detailed plans for major component projects, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk assessments.

• Schedule major component works in line with available resources, tools, and materials.

Resource Management

• Identify and allocate personnel, tools, and equipment for each project.

• Manage inventory and logistics to ensure components and materials arrive on time

• Liaise with crane companies, arranging lifting operations and plate load tests.

• Ensure that all required tooling is available on-site in a timely manner.

• Ensure manpower is available for project execution.

Site Visits & Coordination

• Conduct site visits with crane companies to finalize logistics and operational plans.

   

Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare comprehensive work plans, covering scope, safety protocols, and quality standards.

• Maintain accurate records of project progress, budgets, and outcomes.

• Generate reports for management and clients as needed.

• Report directly to the MCW Manager on project status and updates.

Stakeholder Coordination

• Facilitate clear and effective communication to resolve challenges and align all parties.

• Continuous Improvement.

• Analyse completed projects to pinpoint areas for improvement.

• Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and safety.

What You Need to Make the Cut

• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Proven experience in planning and executing wind turbine maintenance or industrial projects.

• Strong knowledge of wind turbine components, operations, and maintenance procedures.

• Proficiency in project management tools and software.

• Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• A safety-first mindset and a commitment to quality in all aspects of work.
