Key tasks and responsibilities:
Maintenance & troubleshooting
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on Enercon wind turbines.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Conduct thorough inspections and component replacements as needed.
- Maintain detailed records of service reports and turbine performance.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry standards during all operations.
- Collaborate with the team to identify opportunities for operational improvements.
- Participate in technical training to stay updated on Enercon technologies and turbine models.
- Respond to emergency call-outs and provide technical support for on-site repairs.
Customer contact
- During all activities you are responsible for maintaining customer contact on site to update them on the status.
Quality & Safety
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures, identifying and mitigating potential hazards.
- You are responsible for checking and maintaining quality of all components relating to wind turbine, as well as recognizing interconnections within the system’s architecture.
- You are accountable for the safe and effective operation of electrical and mechanical components within the wind turbine.
Continuous improvement & Collaboration
- Collaborate with engineering and operational teams to implement improvements and optimize turbine performance.
- Continuously improving the performance of our wind turbine fleet based on the error/gap analysis, response times and Operational Data statistics.
- You will also on occasion work on tasks with the control room, remote monitoring of wind turbines worldwide.

Our head office team is based in Amersfoort, the Netherlands. The rest of our 190 employees are employed all over Europe, maintaining wind turbines all over the world. In the UK we employ over 100 people, of which the majority are Service Technicians.
